INPUNCTO
The shelving system INPUNCTO is inspired by hand-forged stair railings, where a tapered pin is driven through heated metal. The circular holes are offset by 90° at each connection point to optimally absorb both transverse and shear forces. This clever construction eliminates the need for a conventional cross brace, keeping the shelf accessible from both sides – and thereby expanding its range of use. The materials, forged steel and solid Swiss stone pine, are combined in a way that allows them to be easily separated and recycled. Thanks to its well-considered system, INPUNCTO is easily expandable and adapts flexibly to the needs of its users.
